Otherwise people will be turned off before release. WWII has been done so many times and it has run it's course with many. So this needs to look different so people don't look at this and think just another WWII game.

but you have to remember they are using DX9 so because of that they are limited on how great the gfx are gonna look. it would e nice if they used DX10 but hey.... at least this game is pc only

well DX 11 or 10 was talked about in the cast i got confused though as i had heard them say it is DX9 and 10 and 11 they are thinking of a wile back but then in that cast it was 9 but we are thinking of 11  so i duno

That was in a past post of Ramm of nearly half a year to a year ago, in the latest crosshairs podcast which is the newest bit of info and only a few days old Ramm talks about DX9 and possibly DX11. So unless Ramm made another post correcting what he said in the podcast, I'd say that we should hold to that point of thought for now. UE3 by default supports dx9 and dx10, so its likely that dx10 will make it in but I think twi is looking in some dx11 features as well. Aka if the game will support dx11 features it is likely that dx10 users can disable a few of the dx11 features and end up with a dx10 game.
