Think about what you are saying Jo3. Two things come to mind to me.

1. If this isn't such a big deal, why did John post this and not Yosh? John just told you this..

Yet he sat down and typed up that lengthy post. Seems to me that this is a serious issue.

2. If you are going to say that a developer is ok to change things from game to game in the sake of attracting a bigger fan base, then you can never complain about Activ/EA ever again. That has been their model for years and now TWI's model.

He posted that because he cares about his fans and he didn't want to leave them on the forums getting more and more annoyed, this shows that he cares about all fans TWI has because he even addressed this very small minority's problems. TWI also took on a good idea IMO,



Unlike EA/Activ they took on the ideas they didn't ignore them. As for not being able to moan about EA/Activ i have not seen any new feature (or lack of) that has put me off HOS but i have got a problem with features (or lack of) in BF3 and MW3, so i don't see why i can't moan

No not at all it was a very small minority of very vocal forum members.

It was the ensuing flame war that got TWI's attention as almost every thread was being hijacked in order to get the answers they were after.
I think it shows just how pro-active TWI are towards supporting their community that they took time out to post some explanations..

Like I said - All in all a case of "handbags at dawn"..

the problem is activ/EA don't know when to stop, they could/do have the biggest game ever and now they want to go after the non-gaming market, the world is not enough for either of them. All they see is dollar signs, they sold the heart, soul and every ounce of integrity any of their licenses ever had to get 100K more people then the last game. (more so activ then EA, but EA isn't far behind).

I can't but laugh at TRTL's attempts at stirring the pot and seeing it working.

He's no more serious about what he's saying than Mr. Kotick saying he cares about gamers. ROFLMAO

I'm sure JG cares about his game succeeding. He is a business man after all. What counts is, how He and TWI go about making sure their game succeeds. By caring about the products they are producing and paying attention to the details. Sorry to make another music analogy, but it's like comparing Pink Floyd's Dark Side of The Moon to a Top 40 pop band's latest when you compare a TWI game to a title such as COD.
