So yes TWI has changed their story and I could give other examples but this is the one that matters most to me. I need my clan friends to try it out and see if they like it before we go rent a server and buy the game. None of us liked the first one so we want to see what the second one is like. Yosh may have said their will be 20000k but he never said it would be for anyone, due to the fact they hadn't decided on how they were going to distribute the keys. Ramm on numerous occasions said they were toying with the pre order beta access idea, and funnily enough that's the way they went.... Your just making things up now

It was a closed beta from the get go, and TWI said that everybody that really wanted to could probably find a way to get in that beta. On numerous occasions they have said they were thinking about the format, and preorder beta has been suggested as a possible option multiple times. The question is how many players does that beta end up being, as nobody knows the actual preorder amounts.

Why are you so obsessed with the beta? To quote myself, "Their releases are consistent with their statements." Key word: releases. Not beta. You know the game is going to be good...or do you not trust the words of those who have already played it? For your clan problem here's what you do: Pre-order the game on Steam, play the beta, and if you guys can't appreciate it or if it's not your style, cancel your pre-orders.

I must say I am sceptical when it comes to certain peoples comments on RO2 especially when I see them reply to other game threads and mention RO2 every second they possibly can. Usually this is because they are former CoD, even BF players who aren't getting the things they are used to with the franchise and are now using RO2 to say "hey Activision/EA this is a real PC game nah nah nah" and stick the middle finger up. I am not sure if they truly like the game and are possibly willing themselves to like the game just because, for example, it has modding tools. I think that's where guys like me get that scepticism from especially if we are not seeing a decent amount of game play footage and in this day & age, it should be HD. That is why I don't trust those who have played it and I have pre-ordered it to make my own mind up.

Oh yeah, that's right. Sod all. The closed beta is running and running well. Bugs are being worked out of the system all the time so I would just butter myself thickly with a good dollop of patience and see what's coming. No point in jumping the gun, for or against, until it's out. It's not BF, it is sure as hell not COD. It is RO2.
