Post Re: New Patch
Agree. It is a crying shame as the game really is very, very good. I had been holding off for a few days and went back 2 days ago. Better, but still some way to go and hopefully this patch will sort it out. It has been a roller coaster ride for them, no doubt, and I can only hope the player numbers hold.

Which are still much lower than RO1 & KF were 2 weeks after release.

At least it is doing better than some games...for now.
Used the same graph but did some comparison to other games.

...and if you go a bit further back with the same graph, you'll see RO2 is following HOMEFRONT's trend, i.e. awesome kickoff followed by stead decline to nothingness...

Good job at comparing RO2 to the SP parts of Black Ops and MW2.

/edit/ but I got the Homefront thing right though! :geek:
Oh and from your graph I see someone tried MoH twice.

Post Re: New Patch
After the BF3 beta I came back to this game and some new patches released for it. Originally I thought the hit regs were good. But now I'm thinking the close range hit detection is a complete mess. Not sure if it is me, the patches or what. Tried out fraps in game and FPS seems pretty solid (over 100) though.

Post Re: New Patch
It somehow seems to have lost something against the PPSH. Maybe I just lost the feel for the game since the BF3 beta - not sure.

The only time I really use SMGs is in team deathmatch. The rest of the time I'm running a bolt-action rifle, semi-auto rifle, or full-auto rifle.
