Tried a little of the patch this morning. so far so good.

Nice boost in fps rates and they seem more stable as well. Snipers are nerfed, still effective just more "balanced"..smgs seem a little weaker but maybe its just me. Not a big deal either way.

Ill get a better chance as the week goes to try more but as i said in the title ..changes are very nice so far

lots of servers last weekend.. and had quite a few fun games..


even if there was only 20 servers playing the game..im still only able to play on 1 at a time anyways.

currently 1834 players (of course this varies wildly with time of day and day of week) there was over 3,400 players on last weekend..


there are games with 100,s of active servers that suck and there are games with fewer servers that are a lot of fun...for me id rather take the latter then the former.

Completely agree with you, and I'm glad to hear you're enjoying the patch.

I haven't had a chance to check it out, and probably won't for a while, but my clanmate mentioned that the game crashes whenever he tries to change is settings. Have you had this issue? He also mentions that he's still having frequent disconnects.

I havent had any crashes myself at all...as for disconnects i had a few last weekend but haven't seen any today. Mind you i haven't played for hours on end either today..I only got about 1 hr in before it was back to the grind stone.

I hope that when the weekend comes, people will start flocking back to Homefront. The problem is that this patch took longer than it should have. Many people have already moved on to other games.

I saw the patch was out, as I have a boxed copy which registered to steam, I will presume steam is looking after me?

Yup, it certainly is. My copy is from D2D and Steam is behaving as though I purchased the game through Steam.
