I'm playing the patience game with mod tools and trying not to listen to all the negativity about how they will be irrelevevent with all the new titles and mw3 .A lot of people play the pro mod on cod4 and that games quite old now and also cs and Half life mods which are ancient.To tell you the honest truth if i make a mod and only a hanfull play it its alright, its still creativity and i will have lear'nt something new. the last map i made was for delta force 2 and to hear my team mates on team speak when they were getting chased by crocodiles while i tore them up with a saw was sweet. )

Re: mod tools comign with next big patch. Modding is going to add an extra element to this game that it kinda needs. If they don't work out right away, that's OK. Still fun to shoot people.

I bet within 12 hours of mod tools being released, there will be new maps. OK now I'm getting excited. I wonder if DLC will be free just for that reason? Maybe they shouldn't release the mod tools. If I owned the game and knew that would happen, I definitely would put some thought into it. As for the answer, who knows... Time will tell. Either way it's going to be fun!
