Mw2 could have been great, it was great for the consoles. If mw2 had dedis and console and lean it would have been great. So, I don't see what's wrong with hoping for an mw3 with these things. I, like many, don't give a rats ass about the single player, and will not withhold buying this game due to absurdity of the single player story. If the multilayer is solid I am buying this game.

If we get told we have the stuff we want then i will get it, if we don't and then it comes out and i fined out we do then i will get it . But i cba with the way the PC community is, treated so im not going to pre order/buy till i know i have a good game

They said the same things about BO.

See how well that turned out to be.

BO is still an OK game. took some time to tweak and the lack of rounding errors from the quake engine is disturbing, but its still fun.

I just hope mw3 will be like a mixture of BO and cod4..
fast movement, fluid engine, quake style fps bugs, nice weapons, good maps, dedicated servers, modtools. and I hope there will be lots of stuff to tweak. they better not dump it down to standard config for everyone like mw2.
problem is, they wont tell anyone beforehand.

It's more than just a OK game, it's a top 4 or 5 played on steam right now.

The only thing that concerns me with the new COD coming out this fall, is the new dev teams working on it. I have seen such a difference between IW and Treyarch COD's, that I just wonder how this COD is going to be different.

But even with that being said, it still will be the top game this year.

Its not an OK game, its junk. Watered down, spam infested , unoptimized poorly coded noob freindly tripe. Its in the top 4 or 5 steam MP games sure , but look at what its up against, MW2 has been above it for over 3 months now nevermind the amount of Gamers steam doesnt count that are going back to COD4.

Even if theres only a tiny percent of IW's original staff left working there I would still rather have their game over Treyarchs. Even with dedicated servers and mod tools (haha) and zombies , customisation and such Treyarch still managed to produce a boring lower than average Cod game.

just my opinion ....... but i am keeping my fingers crossed for MW3.

I just hope COD becomes the next Tony Hawks and reaches market saturation so other more original titles get some players.
