Basically we just saw the first in-game footage of MW3 MP at the end. I literally thought it was MW2 until I noticed the blood type patch on the dude's arm. So that guy basically just showed the world that you'd be paying for stuff that was free before. I'm glad that a bunch of people that I know that play CoD heavily heard about this and are pretty disgusted. They say they won't buy the game, but I dunno. Saying that is one thing, going through with it is another.

I think Activision will be quite surprised by lack of sales vs BO or MW2 this year.

there will be no loss of sales what-so-ever. For every 1 informed hardcore FPS gamer that decides enough is enough and doesnt purchase there will be 10 fanboi rage screaming spoilt twelve year olds that do because their mates got it and they dont want to seem uncool. Activision knows this and will pump them till it hurts. Dont forget too, this is all based on console. just wait till PC gamers get further screwed over with not all the features availible although they will promise they are (remember treyarch promising all the same stuff for pc for black-ops??yet here we are 8 months later and no party mode and still no up the ante + more !!! )

not to forget that most of the "boycotters" will buy it after having to observe 70% of their friends playing it in steam for 2 weeks after release.

Cant believe that they are going to do this. I really hope that all the kids parents refuse to let the kids charge it to their credot cards and the game is a flop. guess its up to BF3 to be enjoyable enough to distract me from any potential MW3 may have had.

Bring on BF3 and ROHOS ....and that is not just because this elite business I just lost interest in COD.They would have to come up with something special for me to buy MW3

It's a good point it was brought, the parents will have to dish out money monthly for this.

Question is, a parent can be persuaded to buy a game but can the average parent be persuaded to have a fixed monthly expenditure, especially in these economic depression times?

This will either make Activision 100x more wealthy or break it.
