IF the game is actually AMAZINGx10 i MAY get it on sale but it feels to me as if this is a way to get vocal PC HC fans spamming it over the web to generate overall hype for the game. I may be wrong though u never know _________________  |

Re: Its official! I don't even know what half of you are on about, too little too late. Dedicated servers are only the salad dressing, an important salad dressing but still. You either like how cod plays or you don't. If the latter is true why are you still around?
Also about the notion that VAC "sucks" vs PB. Idk about you but I barely meet hackers in Black Ops or Source games(Counter Strike Source, TF2). Nothing worse than what PB ever was. Also VACs ban is amazingly cruel, thus the fear of getting VAC bant is greater unless you make a new steam account for every new cod game. |

Re: Its official! Spawnstar you're wrong about that. Public server files have been announced. We do not know the details about ranking but it will most likely allow for up to 64 players or whatever you can still manage to run a la cod4/cod5. All we do know that it won't be locked away and hosted like Black Ops or BF3 or any recent shooter in memory. This has been confiremd by Sledgehammer games:

Re: Its official! good news... with their focus on better gun-to-gun combat and so, hopefully it will be like cod4 but with less bugs/exploits. but I still won't get it until after launch, hearing what other pc gamers say about it first.

Well they could have public server files for UNRANKED servers and use p2p iwnet for RANKED servers. It would still be within what has been confirmed. I don't know. I am just going to wait and see. These guys always find some way to spin something. I am not going to say good or bad until it comes out. But it's obvious that BF3 has got them worried and they are feeling the need to give pc players some attention. Which is good news for us. And Spawnstar, if you are going to start answering some of my questions, please post links to confirmed info. I want some facts, not what's happened in the past or what you think is going to happen. |
