ya ok this fall the big show down is between Mw3/BF3-- stunning visuals, and game play by both companies.

However, in order to run in "real life picture mode" a person must ask themselves at what cost in terms of "fps"

Mw3 states it will run at 60fps. Ok cool, great i dont care. However does that mean "fps" is going to be a "locked" feature or command in the game.... to prevent someone with a more capable computer at running let says 125 or 250 fps?

We all know the game and certain situations come down to fps you can attain. Proven by jock stating the ak74/47 fires faster at 250 then 125. the margin is small but sometimes that deciding factor because fps also means packets. Is greater better? It would seem so and it looks anyway to me Mw3 ppl see this as well but what scares me is that their going to lock such a command from further tweaking...

maybe im looking to far into this but i found it interesting as "60fps is Mw3's competitive edge" aww no...

If it was locked in Mw2 i think it will be in MW3, and this COD elite thing will be such a big part with its tournaments they will probably force 60 FPS on us all. Feels a bit weird not being excited about this COD at all.

just imagine trying to play a tournament/comp on mw2's IWnet lol , TBH they prob wont include the PC in the tournaments, they not bothered with PC in anything else be it Elite beta, game with the Devs, etc.

by 60 fps they mean the game runs at least 60 fps stable all the time, actuially its always 90 afaik.

however Im sure this is related to console only.

Yup, you are correct. It is consoles he is talking about. Surprised you guys didn't recall the fuss when DICE said that on consoles BF3 would 30 FPS and IW came back and said theirs would be 60 FPS.

Should know better that Bowling was talking about consoles

ähm nope fps is not locked in mw2 im playing it at 125 fps with fov 80

Well thats news to me stopped playing the game after i was raped 20 games in a row by different cheaters and could do nothing about it

okay that IS hard. i totally understand that...but lets say im more than just a bit better than the average player espacialy with only a few oponents like 3-5 or so
im getting them 90% of the time if the are not my back...im tired of beeing titled a cheater, hacker, noob blabla
right now im just makin fun of the gys that think they are sooo good and just cant get me because im to fast for them :S
whatever just wanted to point out that there are realy good players and they are frustraded because the get kicked a few times a day just because they are damn good

so relax have fun playing the game and maybe try something different

Oh i know i am one of the good players i know a cheat from a good player, its easy to see e.g. i know im not playing well if i don't get called a cheater, i am even so vain that i take xfire screenshots of good scores....

But in MW2 it was skill-less if you are the host you are going to come top, e.g. my screenshots most of the ones with me at the top i am the host... it was a blank game IMO.

it however is NOT possible in the normal iwnet, and they enforced 85 fps 30 packets like a year ago.
