Microsoft to face lawsuit
Implicit Networks has filed a lawsuit against Microsoft in a California district court, which alleges that the software giant has breached a patent that it owns.
The patent, which was issued in 2003, is titled "Method and system for demultiplexing a first sequence of packet components to identify specific components wherein subsequent components are processed without re-identifying components" and is allegedly used in Windows 7's Filtering Platform.
