 Re: Summer Steam Sale
The following list are games that I particularly enjoy and think that some in the community may enjoy as well. They are not limited to the FPS genre and not all of them are on steam or part of the steam summer sale. However they are still worth a mention as they will be/are priced quite low.
My List:
Minecraft: Classic is free and available at the official website. Fully featured version is still in beta and costs 14.95 euro. Once out of beta the price will jump to 20 euro. Build your world the way you want to. This game puts a large emphasis on creating your own fun and setting your own goals. Not everyone will enjoy this game but some will. I certainly do.
Torchlight: Awesome dungeon crawler from the same dev team that brought you the original Diablo.
Torchlight 2: Soon to be released sequal to Torchlight. Will feature out of the box MP, Coop and PVP. Will also ship with mod tools which are the same exact tools used to make the game. They won't be dumbed down in any way. This one will play more like Diablo 2, meaning you're not confined to 1 or 2 dungeons in the same town with 100+ floors each. There will be other towns, many 2-5 floor dungeons, wilderness and a much improves quest/mission system linking it all together.
Magicka: Hilarious fun, PVP update just released. Could be very a competitive PVP game outside the FPS genre whether 1v1 or team based.
Super Meat Boy: Incredible 2D platformer. I highly recommended this game to anyone who enjoys platformers. Many character unlocks and secret levels equal hours and hours of fun.

 Re: Summer Steam Sale
http://www.WorldofTanks.comIt's free to play... and very addictive. Based on WWI through Coldwar tank models... You start with a WWI model tank and have to work your way up with experience and earned credits.. Matches are evenly balanced. So when you have your first battle your not going up against a Heavy Tiger Tank or something similar like the M2 Pershing. Right now there are 3 Nations represented.. USSR, USA, and German There are plans for French and Japanese to be added. Matches are fast and so is unlocking and upgrading.. I highly recommend this game. It's a shooter just a different style of shooter.

The devs are always putting out patches, running contests for in game prizes and support seems to be pretty decent aswell.
