Had a bit of time on my hands to try this config out, and noticed like Fox there is a lot of "fluff" that isn't related to FPS but more a personal preference ( hud etc). I like the blue console colour btw
Also as I run a ATI card and a few of the r_ dvars arn't applicable. Since you are going to revamp the config would not make sense to produce one that only changed what was needed ( fps and hit reg ) but for all cards?
do these actually make a difference to Nvidia cards and increase fps ( absolutely no effect on my system)?

I have done a few tests myself and found my system actually runs a little slower on Jock's yitch3.cfg as apposed to my own cfg?
Stock config settings 1024x768 @ 80 fov everything on:

damn it looks nice but 21fps
yitch3 config settings @ 800x600 fov 65:

stable fps 87 at this position in map
flash config settings @ 800x600 fov 65:

stable fps 94 at this position in map - a gain of a few frames ( but I do use a few dvars Jock doesn't and picmip is set at 0 )
Since CoD will fill in the majority of the dvars based on player preference do you think a striped version is a better way of delivering your config?
