Post Help! Great FPS in CoD4, Awful FPS in CoD5.
Hey All,

Wondering if anyone has any advice, I've been away from CoD for a good few years and recently got back into it (you can blame a wow addiction for that!)

Anyway I'm having a bit of a problem, I have a clean install of Windows 7 with all latest drivers, 6GB RAM, C2D E6750, 2 x 512 8800GTS in SLi.

CoD4 gives me a really great 200-300 fps, CoD5 however, i'm lucky if I get 70fps. (both bought via steam if that makes any odds)

I'm using the yitch cfg's in both instances.

Surely CoD5 wasn't that much more demanding than CoD4? or was it?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Its on Steam so it's auto updated to latest version, doesn't make sense to me that I get higher FPS on MW2 with 4xAA than I do on WaW with a High FPS .cfg

I'm gonna try going back to some previous nvidia drivers.

Thanks for the input!

Problem solved, rolled back to an earlier version of my graphics card drivers and pretty much doubled my fps!
