Post Single player is so cinematic
If only MP could live up to the gorgeous cinematic experience that single player displays on the xbox 360 and PS3.I expect the PC version will be about equal. As usual in the COD series you live this game as opposed to really competing in it.The attackers AI is as stupid as ever yet there are loads of cool activities going on with other characters.Watch for it. The lighting is so wonderful though that it approaches a kind of surrealism. At time with flares going off at night and with the moving shadows you can actually feel the battlefield come alive. The use of fire in its various forms is just great looking. This is a truly beautiful game that the MP beta doesnt give justice to.Gritty and violent are an understatement yet gratuitous doesn't apply. For a moment or two I felt it was quite politically incorrect to show one race's cruelty from an earlier time in history but then again "who cares"it's just a game.In addition and to my surprise the dialogue is excellent.I am not spoiling anything intentionally because whatever happens with MP I know most will be buying this game.I think Zombie mode will help people feel like they get a bit more for their money as far as single player goes.Whatever happens Treyarch has broken from their own past in many ways but is still the ugly duckling stepdaughter to the Cod series playing to the toughest room there is.

One little spoiler.I just cant help it.When you look through the scope of the sniper rifle and see someone on fire and trying to put himself out it is very realistic and further lends realism to the whole experience.

I disagree lol

It's too short. And even shorter on co-op!
In my opinion the cinematics are horrible - The second i started the campaign and saw that asian in my face i taught to myself this game has no graphics at all -,-

Maybe that's just me,
Matt.

I would say that it is lacking in story as in cod4 but if your running this game on a widescreen monitor at max settings then its hard to argue with the look of the game.Thats the benchmark for judging it.But then again its a bit subjective I guess. What other FPS looks as good though?

For me it was more the gameplay, as I had it set to low settings, and even then barely scraped 20 fps. Yes it was short, but it was a great experience, the Russian missions especially, they were really emotional.
