Post To Get Rid Of The Glow
It is a rather annoying simple matter. I wanted to play some Modern Warfare 1 again and noticed a glow effect I cannot seem to turn off. Its intensity is dependent on how dark the immediate surroundings are in relation to the peripheral ones and where the player is. I am playing Promod Live 2.04 EU. No option setting via the menus and no console command I know fixed it. "r_glow" is set to "1" and it seems locked somehow. It cannot be set to "0", which is odd enough. If anyone knows how to turn the feature off, help would be appreciated.

Here are some screenshots:

Hm, I see nothing wrong or "bad". What've you been playing after leaving and re-joining CoD4?

yea mate easy to do what version of promod are you running?

the "glow affect issue" you have isnt actually to do with glow itself its a lighting issue and to fix this issue you need to open the promod menu and turn the lighting to off and not 1.2 which I will post some screenshots for you so you can see the difference

this screenshot is 1.2 lighting effect

and this screenshot is no lighting at all so lighting is all off :)

1. To access the promod menu press the letter B

2. while still in the promod menu press the number 5 to access the promod graphics menu,

3. the setting your After is Lighting Im pretty sure youll find that the lighting is on 1.2 being the most lighting effective setting to remove the lighting as you say you want to do all you is press B55 brings up promod menu access the promod graphics then youll see this

then press the number on the promod menu to toggle lighting effects being Stock, 1.2 and Off i prefer off myself but depends on persons preference :)

also the quick way to remove lighting you press b55 then hit 1 this will remove all ighting from all your promod maps :)

Sorry for long reply hope you get this problem sorted

p.s Bash and slash Staff sorry for huge pics just trying to get him to see the difference :)

Cheers
