Lawl, there are no damn aussie servers, SOOOOO much lag!. I mostly play on LAN for that reason.

I don't play LAN because I have no competition. Even when I have a sniper on wawa vs. the thompson :O

Trust me I know the feeling, my 10 year old brother is terrible, then cracks it when I beat him.

Cod4 is my first cod that I play online but I played all the others in single player mode.

First in Cod2 it gets on my nerves that I cant sprint, so you run around bashing all the time because you want to run.
I even had to unbind shift.

But on the other hand, sniping in Cod2 is so much more fun. (dont ask me why)
In an good map I can be the top scorer just with a sniper rifle and I played that game maybe 3 times online
Even on short distance you still have a chance with the sniper rifle when you sit still for half a second and the crosshair gets smaller.

I mean why cant this be like that in cod4?
Even when I have an assault rifle and a sniper rifle (overkill perk) I dont get as many points as when I play more agressively with an assault rifle only.

I suspect that it might also be the maps in cod4 that make it less fun, first they are too small for the number players that are on most servers and then there are many open spaces so you cant really hide.

I think CoD2 is the best game and the first shooter i bough. Its sooooooooooooo addicting. Especially the multiplayer and the single player campaings are soo good too. You always think youre really at war. Thats wats so addicting.

I don't really have a good "relationship" with CoD2.
it was the game that helped shrink our clan community from over 300 active people on the server each month (you had to play 200 rounds to get on the stats, and we always had more than 300 people there) in UO to 20-30 as it is now...
that's a HUGE step back, and we tried "everything" to counter the effect the game had, but nothing worked.

CoD2 broke almost every community I know, of that existed before it, into tiny fragments scattered all over the net.

I hoped CoD4 would help get things back to normal, but no such luck. Now I'm hoping for CoD:WW

I got cod 2 and for some reason it didn't catch onto me.
I played for a hour and then went back to cod . Not sure whether i thought it was the same with improved graphics but i guess i was expecting more. Were my expectations high? yeh they probably were and that' why the game didn't roll with me but as soon as cod 4 came out, I was immersed in this new experience and I think that's what i needed to move on from cod 1. still play it though

Then you gave poor me the game, now I have the awesome range of 3 games!. World of Warcraft (Which is crashing alot lately ffs) CoD1(60 fps on low settings) and CoD2 (Have to use the pc in the kitchen to play it).
