 Comms problem
At present we curently have a problem in our clan with comms,we have sorted a short list out of place names and commands to keep chatter to a minimum, but the guys just don't seem to get the nack of things.
In matches it ends up going pear shaped because team mates are throwing nades etc and blowing up our own squad. Does anyone have some good comms exercises that will be good for a multinational clan,or a mod they use to increase comms effectiveness?
Any help would be great.
Thanks in advance,

 Re: Comms problem
make the name represent something in the area. For example on Strike by the fountaion u have those baskets. DO NOT say "he is over by the fountain", DO say "1 on Baskets" make it short and easily "translated". Many times you will see some1 in a spot you do not know what to call. Example a person up on the glitch roof above garage on stirek. DO NOT say "By A" DO SAY "Roof Above Garage" . other than that practice practice practice

 Re: Comms problem
I think mainly the trouble is with ideas to learn place names,we already mapped out place names over a period of time and distributed the maps. I found a good mod that may be useful and fun at the same time in training called the 'hide and seek mod',with this instead of a carachter you choose your class and your carachter displays as that class, the classes are things like tree, lamp post, bike, box etc. One person hiding and the rest seeking, this way hopefully the person hiding can give clues to where they are on the map, enabling peope to remember the names better, and allow them to find the person hiding. When we mapped out the place names we did exactly like you said, for instance on hotel, statue, tyre shop, red stripe etc, visual clues. This doesn't seem to be the problem,it's more getting people to talk,it's only a handful but we're having to leave them out of games, and get players of lower quality who do use comms.

 Re: Comms problem
Practice, practice and more practice. That's what we found. Nothing else helps more. Name the places as simple as possible i.e. easy to remember and then practice on the public server, friendly scrims and during matches. Eventually it will sit. We do name checks during training so that we all are reminded what places are called, especially on maps we do not play a lot and it is great to see it/hear it working during a match when someone says "one A bins, one double palms" (Strike) and watch the change in your teams focus.
