HI, my name is |BAT| King. owner and leader of the clan. I just cancelled my pre order.. F**K THEM.. no ded. servers means they wont get my business. thats what happens when IW noobs of team programers create games, they forget about the essentials of what makes a good game successful. f**k them this is bad, terrible... they forget that its thanks to US pc gamers that they became successfull and what they are now.... they SHOULD and NEED to listen to us and do what WE WANT...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

im getting everyone to cancel on my side. my clan |BAT| is uber pissed about this...

Post Re: MW2 PC Optimism
When the game first came out i bought i a copy of MW and was playing it everyday (as i do now),
than i came home to and went to get on the game but it told me my key code was in use. This happened
For 4 days straight, till i than got the message that i was globally banned. I wrote Activision/Infinity Ward
about this telling them that some one had cracked their keys and had taken mine. They swore up and down that
no one could do this and therefore some one had to see my key and use it, so they felt that they wouldn't entitled to
give me another key, as well as saying they had no keys to give either since they where all in with the game cases.
Now they come up and say that they are having hacked games and stolen keys on the internet playing after telling me
that it was impossible for them to hack their keys. I have bought the game 2 times cause of this. So they contradicted themselves to me if they told me they couldn't be hacked and now that is there excuse to get rid of dedi's. I know I won't be buying the game unless there is dedi's in it.

MY Name IS Dante And ive been a gamer since i was a kid. i made the transition from console gaming to pc gaming well over 2 yrs ago..it started with bf 1942 and continued with cod 4..ive been playing cod 4 since it came out on xbox...when two of my xbox's died..i made the switch to the pc and immediately got call of duty 4...when world at war came out me and my friends always had fun..now in a discussion with old clan-mates and current ones..its safe to say because of IW's Flop..alot of people will stick with those two games i just mentioned. Ive been following fourzerotwo on twitter and its just sad to realize hes a console fanboy with both a xbox 360 and a ps3..i don't think hes ever played on a PC and has ever understood what dedicated servers mean to us. now grant collier did and for that we thanked him very much. when grant got his promotion...this little console *** stepped in and prob though..lets try something different. unfortunately for him hes optimistic and believes his silly little plan will work. based on the amount of people who play the game and all the servers that say BOYCOTT MW2...F*** ACTVI-IW...ITS CLEARLY OVER HALF A MILLION PEOPLE..i know 20 different clans who aren't getting this game with 20-60+ people in it. i parked outside my local gamestop the day of bashcast 123 with a sign for people in the queens community who played cod on there pc..i got 300 people in 2 days to cancel there preorders with more cancelling at a midnight release that happened at that same store..the people at game stop who i knew had knowned how passionate i am about my gaming and to see this epic fail of a game hurts me alot...its worse then being hit by a car...

over in all..reading the forums about stability, people from other countrys having limited bandwith..will it work...and all the hoopla. i implore the community to keep at it..raise some hell..we do mean business!!! we want those servers back..the only way to get iw to give in is to never give up...i know since day one..we all havent given up..IW and especally 402 will go to hell for the sins they have commited

You were standing in fron of a games store with a sign to get people to cancel their preorders?
Thats what I call commitment.

Its funny how they always explain the pros of matchmaking which can be fine when you still have dedicated servers and an optional server browser.
This way forrest can click on "JOIN" and find people who are as dumb as him and we can simply join our favourite servers like we used to.
Matchmaking has nothing to do with peer to peer gaming, it would work better with dedicated servers.

It's all part of Bobby Kotick's, "Exploit on an annual, or close to annual, basis," policy.
They want CoD to turn into Madden, so you buy a new one with a couple of new guns or maps every year at full price.

Yes but dont they have any pride?
Half life was a legendary game because of all the mods, Id be proud to make a game that everybody knows and plays for years.
Then the next part can be devloped over a long time with a lot of innovations.
And everybody buys it because part one was great.
Valve even managed to make money out of the counterstrike mod, they sold it as standalone and with the new engine.

Gaming on all platforms is stagnating now, everybody releases crap because the others release crap too.
(Why give mw2 dedis if OF:DR has no dedis either?)
Why is their strategy to make a bad game because theres nothing else to buy atm?
Also this stupid xbox and its lame hardware because of it the games wont get much better graphically

In the publishers' eyes:

Money >>>>> Pride

If a game lasts for ten years and everyone knows and loves it, they don't care. If someone buys a game and never plays it, it's the same to them as the ten year player. Actually, the disposable gamer is better. The guy who is still happy with older games is less likely to feel like buying new games.

Why do you think IW demonized modders and tweakers and server providers and clans and hardcore players? They want to attract more Bic users. Zippos be damned.

I think you pretty much condensed all of this discussion into a couple of lines. Good job.

I have my vote at 60%. Im getting the game to see where the Single player games goes knowing that it will be longer than COD4 and i just loved the story line and wanted to see what happens and for Spec Ops. Im not a competitive game but im more than a "casual" gamer. Please dont get me wrong tho because im just as upset about the dedis than everyone else but what upsets me more is just IW is keeping PC and PS3 users in the dark.
