I just played this game and it is total blank. This game actually would be better on a 360 it sure feels like your playing it on one.

The game play is shaky and the whole game is so stripped down that it isn't enjoyable to play in the least bit. The only good thing about it is that there really isn't a lag issue. You have a decent connection to the other players but that is all that is ok with this.

I just can't blank believe that they actually thought this would be a good idea. Actually I am sure they knew it wouldn't be but went ahead with it just to grab any extra sales they could get from it by riding the fame and success of previous games. But this game is a complete disaster as far as I am concerned.

Have to agree there,the only good thing about the mp is the stable connections,i thought the graphics were a bit old looking in places,almost like they've tried to put elements of the original cod in there.
I did notice on one map called wasteland, that it's almost the same as the old brecourt map,from the original.

Also the sounds from shellshock etc are almost identical.I like to be nostalgic at the best of times,but this is called modern warfare for christs sake.

Health regens take forever,the killstreaks are rediculous and far fetched,as is the single player story.
All the cod series up until now have been realistic,and had a decent story line to them,with this i just felt like it was something out of a disney film .
No realism in it at all,as if russia would invade the states,it would just never happen.

I will play the game when i'm bored but i will not be playing it as a competative base.definitely sticking to cod4 and bfbc2 when it arrives.

I agree with the first post. Here's my quick analysis after playing MP for two hours today:
Ping on the MP on this game is a crap shoot. I seem to always be on the lower end of the ping scale. Graphics are not as dynamic as COD4. They copied Brecourt on one of the maps (this was soooo obvious). Guns are no real improvement over CoD4. Health regeneration takes forever. Have not fixed the following CoD4 issues:
- transition time between running and returning to fire = too long.
- transition time btwn throwing a grenade and returning to fire.
- transition time btwn switching weapons and returning to fire.
After all they did put in slight of hand, at leas they could make some of the above better.
Lobby waiting periods can be a loooooong time. Alos, i am not sure what others think, but I always thought they could improve the issue of being killed once you are outside the FoV. This seems so much worse now. I feel i get completely around corners and out of danger, but yet it is not so.

= In all, a good Cod4 server with some custom maps blows all over this game. Single player is good though. I think I would rather play waw for MP - even though the WW2 theme was old for me three yrs ago.

heh...makes me glad i spent my $60 on pre-ordering BFBC2 with the canceled pre-order of MW2... no offense guys,,, we're all PC gamers here...

No I think you made a good decision doing that. I think your money was better spent this way.

I can honestly say that MW2 is a complete joke as far as FPS games go. They did a nice job making a little kiddy xbox game for all the 12 year olds to drool over but real gamers will always laugh at the games short comings.
