felt compelled to let you all know that Activision seem to be systematically pulling all MW2videos that concern hacks or aimbots

This is not the only one, try doing a search for mw2 cheats etc, and there are practically 0 up there. I am in no way promoting or condoning cheats of any kind, but IW / Acticision denying they exist is complete fiolly and shows how much they want any bad publicity metered. I wouln't normally care quite so much, afer all it IS only a game, but this sort of action by them smacks of 1984, if it's copyright violation shouldn't ANY non "official" videos be pulled?? For me this merely strengthens my resolve not to purchase not only this game but ANY activision product (except I own guitar hero but missus would KILL me if I got rid) if this carries on unchecked then expect pc gaming as we know it to be dead in 5 years...........makes me want to weep.

The real pathetic part is this.

Activision has been doing this since day one with this game, on stuff they didn't like. Hacker video? They pull it for "copyright violations."

YET, when Joker or whoever it was requested the ac130 killstreak vid (pre-release of the game, iirc) be pulled, that little knobgobbler 402 posted on his twitter or blog or whatever, "Really guys? Copyright violation?"

You just know he spends his off hours working the middle stall at some interstate rest stop.

I don't see how they can selectively pull videos. If one video is a CWV then all videos are. I think youtube is kissing their blank on this whole thing because if I was in charge of it I would tell them that all MW2 videos must come down INCLUDING the official IW ones or else none of them are coming down.
