New Idea for getting IW to implement dedi servers

Post New Idea for getting IW to implement dedi servers
Ok I am new here and have only been playing MW2 for about a month, having previously been a CS player for 5 or 6 years.

I am loving the game itself but the IWNet is just total wank tbh. I have read around about third parties trying to implement other means of getting dedicated servers etc. and I have read about the petition and the boycott none of which IW/Activison seemed to have taken any notice off.

So since I and many others it would appear find the IW gaming net so annoying/frustrating unfair and downright stupid I suggest we fight back by flooding there email system and support systems with requests to get it changed. 250000 signed the petition so that many people logging daily support requests and flooding them with emails may get them annoid/frustrated and worked up enough to give us the paying customers what we want.

For me they can leave IWnet in place and just add another option for dedi servers and let us decide which we would like to use.

Good Idea ?
Bad Idea ?

I don't think it will happen. MW2 was made for the xbox 360 first and the PS3 second. They made a quick pc port because it was easy and because a million pc copies will be sold based on the name alone.

I don't think IW/Activision care if they sale a single PC copy. Seriously. The game will be a huge success based on x360 sales alone. If the console crowd like the game it wins. If they don't it loses. PC is not a factor.

Also, the success of the game (sales) is determined by whether someone will buy it. The game doesn't need to be fair/competitive or have any lasting value. If it sells and people play it, and they can get some kills regardless of their skill, they'll think it's fun, and tell others who will buy it.

It just needs to be fun for the first 30-120 minutes, and it is. This is fast food gaming, and it makes way more money than anything else (just look at the Wii, enough said).

Just move on to other games or keep playing this, they won't change it. Immature acts won't help and they just make us all look bad. Don't act like them, have some class.

Bad idea. Activision/IW don't care what happen to COD anymore they done with it .They milked it as much as they could ,they had to steal some community mods to make this game.Lets prey to gaming gods that BFBC 2 and MoHA are going to bring back good old PC gaming I HOPE ;)
