Re: Robert Bowling on Dedicated Servers *NEW*
Nothing my ass... Robert you look like a kid trying to explain your way out of the principles office.
Explain to us how a global gaming community that has members from all over the world is going to benefit from this?
Tell me there will be no lag if a player from Manchester hooks up with one from Seattle... With our Fat Pipe they can...
Explain to me further how the match making system (play with like ranked players) works to a community of all types of gamers will go? eg... HC Players (high ranks) and Weekenders (low ranks)... They want to play each other but with this they cant. Correct..?
Give me a EULA that states I can return the game for a full refund if I do not experience the same smooth game-play my current dedicated server provides me?Explain to me why I cannot set my server to all HC for every game type?
Explain to me why the 28 players (all members) I just had a SAB match with on my server will not be able to game together all at once again?
The list could go on forever. It would be pointless.
You call IW.NET Innovative....Maybe it is... What would have been innovative is if you found a way for all gamers Console and PC to game together on the same dedicated box...
Think of the sales just from the rival alone.... Think of the sales from the Console gamers getting that "Fat Pipe" experience. Think of the sales from Consoles getting that 20 v 20 experience. Think of the sales for still allowing the PC community to be creative and innovators ourselves....
I am sorry Robert you have not convinced me nor have you won the hearts of thousands of other PC Gamers. Maybe a demo would be the way to go instead of these useless press releases and forum chats... Show us the product first hand then maybe we will show you the money... PC Gamers are not your buy a game crowd then let it collect dust 6 weeks later types... We are a bit more sophisticated then you think. I test drive all my cars before I purchase.... Do you? Let us see this extraordinary lag free gaming you speak of first hand... Demo it. Talk is cheap....
