Many of us are looking towards BFBC2 with renewed hope. We need to bring back that child-like, wide-eyed wonderment we used to have until we were spat in the eyes by our first true love.

Is there an idea of how much the servers will cost? Something closer than...
If my market is a seller's, it's judgment tends to be unfair.

Not that it's any major indication, but 2142 servers are $0.79 for unranked and $1.24 ranked

My guess would be someplace between $1.50 and $2.50 a slot based on sheer guess work and blind faith

The interesting thing will be to see if there is a difference in cost between ranked and unranked.

With BF2/2142 a ranked server was EA partners only, where as unranked could be anyone. With EA only allowing "selected" companies to host either there may be no price difference.

I also imagine it will be higher at launch than a few months in, as there will probably be limited companies initially able to host the servers.
