I haven't had any technical problems but the lack of auto balance makes me rage quite a bit.

Well, like ibleed stated, "only a good game would have us working so hard". I agree with that. I'm sure they will get it going right. I remember when w@w came out and the famous "duplicate qport errors", etc... Now that game plays pretty much flawlessly after they fixed 'er up. As far as rage quit goes, I have had a few with BC2, especially running my own server. It ignores my setting at times, sometimes they take. Also, have you guys noticed the sometimes questionable hitboxes when shooting someone? More than once I unloaded a clip into someone and got popped by 2 shots from his pistol. Idk, maybe I'm just terrible, lol. I dig the Bad Connections 2 nickname, hehe, I should rename my server to that. Ah, well, the game has my wife pissed at me most of the time, so it must be doing something right.

The new Server update that EA pushed has actually fixed up some of the hit reg issues. This was a day or so ago according to some guys on the purepwnage forums.

The biggest improvement for me has been a good FOV. I get snagged less often on objects and my movement feels smoother and faster comparitively to a narrow FOV.
I still get disconnects :( and changing mouse accel :( but have confidence in the game and EA/Dice

Yeah, fov helped quite a bit. Made it at least somewhat tolerable. I still find myself playing BC2 cause there isn't anything else right now. My hate for this game grows daily, lol, no matter how much I try to like it. Snipers, snipers, and more snipers. I crave run and gun like there is no tomorrow. I hope Moh and/or Treyarch's COD7 can rescue me from this team based nightmare. Nope, I'm not a team player. Ah, well, maybe I'll run thru Bioshock 2 singleplayer again for the 3rd time hehe. I guess I could also reinstall Crysis Wars again (ugh). Sorry to bitch. Must...vent....frustration....

Are you playing on HC? Because I run and gun all the time using the Engineer class and the UMP or AKS-74U in core. Snipers have to hit you twice to get a kill so they shouldn't be killing you in core unless your sighting in or in the open being predictable.

Yeah, I have my server set to HC. I just needed to change my style and strategy a bit. I tried what you do jswizzy, and I was pretty successful at killing off some snipers. I actually had some fun this morning running and gunning. The snipers on the server gave up and changed their class to medic, assault or engineer. There may be hope for me yet, lol.
