Anyone know how to find all command line parameters for this game , for SP specifically , I need -nosound , but it doesn't work , i know this command existed in cod4 , if you had no drivers and all sound hardware disabled , to run the game regardless.

I am testing important freeze , that happens to a lot of people and started with cod4 , but it's getting weird as I updated Realtek drivers and the freezes are getting more frequent , and also in youtube full screen view happened once.

I would just somehow like to run MW2 without sound , as now it gives me the obvious directx & miles sound error.

I think you meant MW2 not CoD4?
I have had that happen two or three times myself.

I have a Fatality SoundBlaster and an 8800 vid card.

Not sure if its possible to run without sound.
Though...have you tried renaming your Miles folder? That's the old CoD4 solution to getting rid of the music.

People are saying "disable sound and disable all cod4 sound settings"(only google finds this phrase I didn't find on the thread when I looked the link) I don't know which ones , but MW2 would probably have the same ones.


I just have this thought that there is a command to disable sound from loading all together , and no , the renaming doesn't work.
