If you have played DICE's BFBC2, what do you think? As Beta's go, what score would you give it?

I just hate the game play, it's just one xbox game exported on pc .....

Personally i think its a great game,could do with some work in places = i.e Weopons do not look very realistic some dont sound to good either when you fire them..
Sound effects = This is possibly the greatest effect of the game for me,it puts you right in the action..
Being able to blow up buildings,shoot fences down is also good news as it give it a realismn that i havent exsperianced before..
Just a point ive only played battlefield vietnam online before this came out..
remember dont judge this agains the cod series (its not cod)

After first update the mouse aiming improved a lot. It is already big fun for especially with other persons on a voice chat application. BC2nick: ThehillNoches+++

+ Cool weapons
+ Friendlist which makes it easy to join friends

-Lags, bad performance although my system is not that bad, game crashes when I alt+tab sometimes
-No console, no lagometer, no ping display ingame
-You can't set wether one can toggle things by pressing key once or perform them by holding key down
-Sometimes it is far to bright. To improve this, read my post in the German news section.

I really like it so far. Let's hope DICE listens to the issues the game has and keeps fixing the game during the BETA and after release.

Absolutely love it. For anyone who thinks it's a console port, it's not, and feels not that different from BF2 (which is a pure PC game).

The lack of prone, is initially disappointing, I think it was taken out for technical reasons rather than anything else (eg imagine testing for glitches with destructible scenery and prone! )

It also makes a snipers job a little harder -> which is no bad thing

I think it's going to be huge, and most importantly bring community spirit back with the required teamwork, dedicated servers and great gameplay.

For dedicated CoD peeps, it will take a while to adapt (it took me a while to go the other way) but it's worth it

I gave it a 5. I absolutely love it. Sure it has its downsides, however it only shows one mode and one map. I think the cod fans will enjoy the squad mode if they dont bury the game after teh demo.

I rated it a 3 Needs work. Conceptually it is fabulous.But despite the fact it is a Beta there can't possibly be any way they can bring this game to the performance levels needed for mass popularity.Too many people are still using XP and DX9 is a disaster in this beta.If this is what Dice has wrought out of this engine they should be taken to the woodshed for releasing it now.All textures are so crude.When background becomes foreground as movement takes place the game it is quite disorienting.To be forced to play the game on low settings with expensive components is a clear indicator as to how Dice has missed the mark.

The gameplay is potentially so good that it is a wasted opportunity.This game tries to do too many things for it's current state of development.

I only hope I am wrong and something crazy is wrong with the 2 rigs I am using.One a dual core and the other a Quadcore.One has a 260GTX and the other a 9800 GT. I want this game to be great.

Ok i've had my play time with the beta of bfbc2 and all is great. But... there is a slight bad habit and that habit is the way of thinking and how I game. Coming from a cod mentality you tend to have some what less of a strategic mind set. I have a habit of going in guns a blazin like Jet lee in the movie "Cradle 2 The Grave" only to get popped by a tank or sniper. I finally seemed to have found a game that the sniper plays a good role in and is worth playing. The battles are insane also. I was with my sqaud attacking and we had every one cornered in a house. I took out my c4 planted it on the walls and blew it. the walls gave way and collapsed like a big behemoth and the house imploded. Theres a type satisfaction in that that cod can't achieve.
