Post Recon (Sniper)
Hey [R]aptor here,
Ive played this game for about 24 hours using only the recon class, and have unlocked all weapons, and attachments at level 7.
Coming from Call of duty, Ive seen a major difference in sniping, or using a sniper-like class. Apart from the obvious difference between BFBC2's realistic rifles (including bullet drop etc.) and Call of duty's rail guns. You have to play completely different. Ill give a go at some tips;

1) Do not choose Recon class if you are attacking and half your team are using recon already.
-There's nothing worse than joining a game to see the attacking side a hill covered in motionless snipers with no-one trying to plant the bomb.

2) When Playing a recon class your role is not sitting waaaaaaaaaay back trying to take the occasional pot shot at anything that moves. As a recon class your goal is to spot the enemy, and take down enemy snipers or stationary targets, i.e. MG's.
-Spotting your enemy will give your foward team an advantage over their enemy. (NO-ONE IS STEALING YOUR KILLS. YOU ARE DOING YOUR TEAM A FAVOUR)

3) When shooting at other snipers, make sure you tag (spot) if you miss and reposition after every kill.
-Once you shoot an enemy sniper he will be on the look out, if you tag him another sniper on your team can clean him up.

4) If losing change weapon or kit, and move up.
-If your attacking and your down to the last 20 points. Be drastic, change class or change to a T-88 with red dot, and move up to the front line, you can plant even if your a recon class.

5)Equipment, save those mortars. Use those motion sensors.
-Save the mortars untill your team has planted, then use it as cover and defence for the bomb. Make sure when you move up to use those motion sensors. This will help your team find any defenders that still remain.

That's it so far, Remember; You can choose recon and still be aggressive.

[R]aptor out.
