See if this helps...

It's to do with servers having the max rate set at 5000 which is basically dialup speeds so things get bogged down and lag is the result. They are going to allow server providers access to the sv_maxrate setting to change this.

I suggest changing this setting on your game as well via the console, by typing /sv_maxrate 25000
:)

The server worked great for the clan and I last 6 hours. Ran like absolute garbage before that. Freezing, stuttering players warping all over. Some guys are still getting some lite stutter every once in a while however, it's very playable for all of us thank god. I get very few if any micro stutters now. All I did was "reinstall the server" and they changed the values/variables(5k to 25k) earlier today.

Next we need swap teams, auto balance between rounds(optional) and some kind of grouping system(terror squad:D).
Of course, more balance and performance improvments are always welcome. Hell this game needs a ton of stuff /connect,spectate, Join friends rather than invite only etc etc. It's a long arse list to be honest.

Ranked server Los Angeles

Rig specs:
q6600@3.2
4gigs ddr 1066
win7 64

Well, all this backlash can be put directly on treyarch and Activisions lap..

They hyped this game to a point they had everyone convinced it was the best thing since the invention of electricity, but that also created an environment of high expectations on release. They should have been running closed stress tests on servers a month before release (invitation only or use combattesting) and started debugging then. its a poor choice to start the "oops , how did we miss that" after release.

I could give DICe more leniency (no not because im an EA mod either) because frostbite was new to the pc. This game engine is old and well tested and we already went down this road of issues with COD4 and CODWAW releases..

an old saying comes to mind,

Those who forget their past are doomed to repeat it (very applicable to the game world)

Sorry, BC2 and MoH are crap of the highest order. In the same way Activision and Treyarch deserve all the blame, so does EA and DICE for the terrible MoH and the horrible support for BC2. Both developers are the different fruit taken from the same rotten basket.
