Post Re: the return of PC_dev
Treyarch has said they will put full support into this game after release since first talks of COD:Black Ops so in time we should have a pretty solid game. The question is how fast many fixes/optimizations will come. The length of time it took to get COD:WAW patched up was quite a while but afterward it was pretty solid.

i think someone said its good if he just sits and takes notes of us talking, cant remember who though :) if he was there all the time the 'giddy school girl' affect would set in and we would just be directing questions to him all the time :) in not saying he shouldn't be on just not all the time, as he can see what we really mean, e.g. I'm shore Toyed's rant wouldn't have been half as psychotic if PC_dev was there :P

.... BTW Toyed you should really get some help with that i thought u were going to kill me :P >>>> http://www.counselling-directory.org.uk/stress.html

Wrong, if I knew PCDev was listening, I wouldn't have let Sam cut me off.. they need to hear what the everyman gamer is thinking about this botched release and they need to understand that CoDs time on PC is running short. If they can't fix this, I for one will be putting full support behind RO2:HoS and will be telling people to leave the CoD Franchise behind. We are NOT heroin addicts looking for our yearly fix, we can move on to another game and another developer and I think it's about time we did so.

We need to stop talking about it and just do it. I'm personally giving Treyarch 2 months to optimised the crap out of this title, and if they can't get it done properly I'm through with CoD for good. RO2 is bringing some incredibly innovative ideas into the FPS genre for PC, and the best is yet to be revealed. I've been talking with John Gibson from Tripwire and some of the things he's told me about this game have me jumping up and down with excitement. It's incredible that it takes a small 30 member indie developer to bring this innovation to light when a 250 person triple A developer can't even fathom what could be outside their small box.

They dont need to sack game servers they just need one or two more providers to even out the load. COD is to popular for one GSP to handle.
