Oh I do hope they go through with this. Finally! We talked about this - not directly - but I am sure we touched on the subject during a Crosshairs and I can't remember which one. I think it was just after prior to the release of MOH. We discussed using us as "paying BETA testers" following the BFBC2 experience and what could we do about it if anything. I think the conclusion we came to was to buy or not to buy, for those that pre-ordered; using canceling of the pre-order as a strong signal to the publishers. I can't wait to hear how this one goes. GO GV!

9,000 signatures is a lot LOL we had 250,000 signatures and we didn't get heard, i hate to be the one to depress everyone but this will not affect anything i wish it would but it will not how many times have you heard about stuff like this and how many times has stuff happened. I really cannot moan at all the game was always playable for me and my clan we where lucky i suppose, black ops was never as buggy for me as MOH was if anyone needs to be told off its EA because they even said "oh it wasn't up to quality but lets sell it them anyway F it"

Open beta FTW.
Could have saved a lot of time, money, and in the end, customers.

One obstacle is that i know in the uk you do'nt buy a game you lease it, so the sale of goods act wo'nt win the case but it may force judges to look at this loophole that game companys have been using.

I really think there needs to be some type of fall back for the consumer. I understand why the terms are the way they are, some people don't like a game and just want their money back. But when a game actually is faulty the consumer really doesn't have any recourse.
Anyone remember Operation Flashpoint:Dragon Rising? The "Dedicated Host Server" issue?
