MOH: allied assualt was awesome game i got that when i was like 12 or something like that but i must say everyone just played single player counter strike 1.6 really brought fps into the frontier of gaming. that and golden eye on 64 though yes i know it wasnt on PC but yeah.
In regards to the podcast discussion of the great sales of the MOH Pacific Assault release; I think a lot of it had to do with how big the previous MOH games were and people loved them but there was a longer release period until MOH PA came out so people were really wanting a new MOH.
Personally I really didn't like MOH Pacific Assault and still can't bring myself to finish SP. Same with MOH Airborne. They just aren't the same as the old ones. With me MOH has always been about the single player and MOH is what really got me into WWII FPS games. I still love the old MOH Allied Assault, Spearhead and Breakthrough and I could still sit down and play the single player and enjoy it but I could count on one hand how many times I actually played multiplayer across all three of those games. I have never played Pacific Assault MP and I have never played Airborne Assault MP.
MOH to me is good single player and based on the last two experiences with Pacific Assault and Airborne I don't even want to attempt the MOH 2010 single player. To top it off after trying the MOH 2010 MP BETA I will declare being done with the MOH series.

hahaha! and dice is your doctor who may or may not have the cure for your std. it is still too early to tell.
Dice has moved their franchise and military fps's forward with BC2 (Destruction 2.0) which can be played with good frame rates. Can't say the same for MW2 - nothing new just more on the same IMO. So with D2.0 not used in MOH, what is the point - new maps ... new silly story . Perhaps it was the licensing fee from DICE for D 2.0 For new maps I'm getting BC2'NAM. Also SP I play twice per game - once on normal and once on top setting - that's it and I'm off to MP only. As a veteran I'm really not looking for the vicarious military experience of SP just fun and competitive tactical challenge of MP (but not mindless console run & gun gaming). But a lot of gamers do. And I play a lot of Left 4 Dead / L4D2 for the same reason.
