 you can preorder battlefield 3 for 47.96 USI just pre-ordered BF3 on direct 2 drive for 47.96 . I got 20% off with there promotion code "specwar5". BF3 is not listed on there front page so you will have to run a search to find it on there website but it is there.

Re: you can preorder battlefield 3 for 47.96 US Ahh, I would definitely buy this except I can't risk the D2D version of the game not working with official patches like it has happened with past games. Not to mention, the update process would be the same one that EA uses (probably), which means that it will sometimes take a very long time to receive updates. I'm still waiting for the Steam version to avoid all that nonsense. However, that is just a slight inconvenience and I encourage people to consider this excellent deal.

Re: you can preorder battlefield 3 for 47.96 US There was a code in my mail from id3 that let me get BF3 for 50% off, like the other titles in their promotion going on right now. Doesn't work anymore. Hope that EA don't cancel my order or they refund me if they do
