Post Can you unscramble your CFG into a list
Probably a real dumb question but you know when you open your CFG its all scrambled together and it’s not in a list. It takes ages to put it all in a list to make it eye friendly and easier to amend .

Q1. Is there a quick way to put it into a list instead of Return, Return Return....... :(
Q2. Once I have spent an hour doing this (putting it into a list) when I come back out of the game it’s all messed up again. Is there a way to prevent this? :(

Apologise in advance if this is a real bone question  , thanks for the help

Its actually not that dumb a question...

I use textpad for all my config's ( google it - its free ) and it displays the files perfectly - you can also use wordpad. Using notepad however will just give you a mass of data in one single line word wrapped. Ugly and hard to read.

I know this is an old post but if you need help on the issue and look this up I hope it helps. just open command prompt/DOS in your profile folder and type 'edit config_mp.cfg' and it will open the command prompt text editor which reads the file correctly (as a list) so if you just re save it then it puts the line breaks in the correct places and it can then be edited with any text editor
