 What's your opinion?
Lately I've been noticing a rise in the number of people base raping. Even some of my own clan mates are doing it. When these people are on my team it makes the round too easy to win, and when these people aren't on my team it's just frustrates the hell out of me. How would you guys deal with it?

Personally I would leave the server, I can't stand people that do that it's just annoying. I think some just find pleasure in pissing other people off because thats all it seems to do.

 Re: What's your opinion?
"Baseraping" is a tactical advantage. Now, I don't go into their spawn and sit there on some stationary lmg mowing down every person who spawns. All I usually do is sit in their spawn with an engineer tracer dart round and hit them as they take their tanks/ helicopters. Sometimes even stealing one.
It isn't that hard to kill someone in your spawn. Any recon person can go in there, throw a motion sensor and find them almost instantly because you can't just sit still in their spawn.
The only thing that really bugs me is when people get revived. They have invulnerability for the first few seconds of being alive and I light them up with half a clip only to run out of ammo as they mow me down.
Baseraping is going to happen, if they decide to make bases "out of bounds" for enemy teams it would greatly affect the game in a bad way. Sure it sucks to have it happen to you , but vehicles make or break a game. It's nice that if your a sneaky engineer you can nullify their vehicles many times over and win the game for your team.

 Re: What's your opinion?
I hope that "baseraping" will be sorted out with the next fix. I am sure it is "oh so fun" for those getting into those spawns, but it more than ruins the game for the others. Whilst entering spawn has its functions i.e. disrupting the flow of new troops to "the front" and allowing team mates to get back into defensive positions, it should not be allowed to remain indefinate in the area. A smash and grab is fine, but camping there... Give it a 30 seconds limit or so at max. noob99 wrote: The only thing that really bugs me is when people get revived. How awful that must be.

Why exactly would it affect the game in a bad way? If DICE wanted to they could easily implement a system to act against base-raping. Here is a simple suggestion: - Team-based "out-of-bounds" warning after 20 seconds within enemy base area - Change respawn invulnerability to 2 seconds elsewhere or 5 seconds within home base area Both of those would still make quick raids possible but would greatly reduce persistent spawn-camping. However, DICE have already said that in their view spawn-camping is a valid tactic, so don't expect it to change. I happen to disagree with them.

hmm perhaps a system or radar around the main bases so that when an enemy comes within its range its automatically spotted and has the triangle over his head til he moves away from the spawn area, this way spawn camping will still exist but there is a big deterrent against it, mainly being an in-game wall hack.

 Re: What's your opinion?
Spawn camping happens in any mp-fps game if you get a situation in which the teams are unbalanced in terms of player skills. Its just inevitable that it will happen sometimes. Best option is that you just go to another server where the teams are better balanced.

I think that is the best idea to solve this. Automatically killing you when you get into the base is not logical or realistic.
