Post Sponsor FourZeroTwo - 24hour gaming session for charity
Sponsor FourZeroTwo - 24hour gaming session for charity

As we all know by now, Robert Bowling is the community manager at Infinity Ward and has appeared on episode of BASH number 123 where he dropped a bombshell that indeed made him the focus of the removal of dedicated servers in Modern Warfare 2, this will haunt him for the rest of his gaming carrier but I do believe that those decisions where not the fault of Robert but of senior people and he was just the messenger, that saying MW2 did indeed smash sales records.

The reason why I am writing this post is to ask fellow PC gamers to back Robert for a charity event that he is doing today, a 24hour gaming marathon starting 8am Pacific time which he is doing for worthy cause for the Children Hospice of Los Angeles, he is doing very well in sponsorship and is currently at $8,386 (83%) of his target of $10,000, just a little short and I wondering if we can do something about it, I have sponsored him a small amount that $24 and if another 67 gamers do so then he will arrive at the target. You can follow his progress on his blog site which has information of he was can pay by Credit card or Paypal on the link on http://www.fourzerotwo.com

Robert is still at Infinity Ward after the mass exodus and as we suspect that Infinity Ward are indeed developing the 3rd game in the modern warfare series, as a return favour to the donations that we give, we ask Robert to listen to our voice and to make vocal as he possibly can to tell Activision and IW that the basics for MW3 really does need to be focused on dedicated servers and some ability of modding for the game, please don’t leave it to the last minute to explain what is coming as we really do indeed want to work with yourselves and IW to make sure MW3 is a successful for the PC Clan communities and competition leagues.

Good luck and lets hope your not falling asleep!

IW is as fully operational as the death star in the Jedi Strike Back. Bobby Kotick is a very smart man and made arrangements prior to firing IW's rebel leadership. And yea Bowling isn't the best community manager but he does love video games even though he seems to have got a job he isn't really qualified for. You should tweet him and get him to livestream his marathon.

Is he playing on the PC? No? I don't care then.

+1

He was a punk to the pc community, even if he was told to say what he said by his masters.

He showed zero class to the pc players.

Screw him and his charity. I'll donate to something he's not involved with.

We have a saying , " once bitten twice shy"... the words or intention of FourZeroTwo can not be relied upon or even trusted when it come to the PC community.

I seriously doubt a community will support a person that was part of an attempt to disband it.
