 What is your best gun?
For me its the commando , but i think once i've prestiged 15 times it will be the galil, because i'm going hard after pro perks when i get it. I Love the famas but its just poor close and long range.I do'nt understand why its not good with steady aim close range, is that just me.?

Re: since its on the front page whats your best k.d. ratio gun.
Blops stats confuse me so I don't pay attention to them. I miss the CoD4 type - kills/deaths and that's it. They've put way too much info in not a very organized way.

famas is good but jumps to much for me the Commando is a good gun the Galil is amazing i think although the AUG seems to be better in match's for me its a personal thing i suppose

My best gun has to be a tie between commando, ak74u, and the bolt sniper. If i had to pick one i would go with the sniper. Once i get an idea of my enemies tendencies i make them feel like im everywhere with the sniper.

Re: What is your best gun?
I just don't know. Arrgghh!
Jock's article was an interesting read but unfortunately the results looking at my own KDRs and accuracy just aren't clear enought for me. I have always struggled with the guns in CoD because I'll have a period of really nailing a particular gun only to come back to it later and not be able to work out which way round it should be pointing.
Having prestiged twice, I have settled on a few guns that "feel" useful for me, whether or not the stats back them up. I should also say that the KDR and % accuracy should also factor in the amount of time you have been using the gun. A few have disproportionately high figures because having tried them briefly I decided I didn't like them and haven't used them again.
I quite like the Skorpion, Spectre and MPL from the SMG category. I used to like the PM63 but just don't get on with it now and the Kiparis (despite the stats) has always felt a little weak.
From the Assault Rifle stable, I have one custom kit armed with the FAMAS (which seems to work very well) and for my "stealth" version switch between the Galil, Aug and Commando, because none of them deliver both the short range stopping power and the longer range accuracy that I want, so I end up trying one for a bit and then swapping to another one to see if that "feels" right for me.
I have experimented with different attachment combinations (iron sights and suppressor or another sight and suppressor using Warlord) but so far nothing really sits comfortably.
Maybe the problem is my gaming style - I tend to favour being on the move and pushing into enemy lines (especially on objective game modes) rather than camping, but equally don't like just running and gunning. Therefore I want a weapon that I can aim down the sights with accurately, but will also be relatively accurate when I bump into someone at close range, rather than just spraying bullets vaguely near them.
What works for you guys?

I tried the Aug for the first time in a couple of weeks , it was much better than the famas close range, maybe you could try that?

Very keen on the AUG myself, deadly close up and first shot accuracy is good enough at range that you can beat out anything but a sniper or semi-auto rifle single shotting it. Too much grenade spam and other assorted turbulence to put up a high kdr with anything but for reaching objectives its a perfect all purpose tool.

Galil for Assault and AK74su for SMG with grip (both iron sights) For some unknown reason, I can't hit the broadside of a barn door when either gun is silenced!

Best gun: AK47/Commando Favorite Gun: M16 (it forces you to aim instead of spray'n'pray, great practice)
