Battlefield 3 Unveiling on March 1st EA today confirmed that it will host an unveil event for Battlefield 3 on March 1st during GDC in San Francisco. Battlefield 3 is expected to ship in 2011. The publisher confirmed to the media it will host an unveil event for the game on Mar. 1, 2011, taking place during the week of the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco. Additionally, EA says it will also have new game announcements as well as hands-on time with many upcoming titles, including: Shadows of the Damned, Alice Madness Returns, Kingdom of Amalur: Reckoning, and Crysis 2. Those who purchased the Limited Edition of Medal of Honor this past fall received an invitation to the Battlefield 3 beta. Re: BF3 Announced I have no concerns about consoles having it, it is more then likely.... what gonna worry me is how you play the commander mode with a controller when you use that map.
I cant wait to be honest but i want them to take their time |

Re: BF3 Announced I've no issues with it coming on out consoles, and lets face it, it will.
As for Commander Mode, they've been making a bit of noise about wanting to have a commander type roll more involved with the action. Sounds like they might dump the commander menus and make everything point and click, similar to the new Q spotting in BC2. |
