Sad, really.

Sad, really. hardly suprising tho considering that, even with its IWnet/P2P faults and issues, it worked out the box , I also think that the core game of MW2, gun/avatar movement and the overall "feel" of the game is better than Blackops, the only thing gameplay wise that Blackops has over MW2 is dedicated servers , If MW2 had came out in its present state but with cod4 style dedicated servers and server browser it would of been a far better game than blackops is or will ever be, once I get a decent connection on iwnet, MW2 is just more fun, plain and simple. And to be clear i had 1000 + hours on cod/uo over 1200 hours on cod4 , 500+ hours so far on MW2 and nearly 100 hours on black ops, and consider myself to be a well above average gamer , so this isnt some MW2 pwnz post , just my opinion.

Those numbers comes as no real shock to any COD fan. I do feel a difference between the two games when I play them and I do think IW's games feel smoother.

Re: And it finally happened for the first time
To be honest, this is actually good news for the COD community and Treyarch.
If you compare CODWAW to COD4 as to the number of people that were playing them, CODWAW failed miserable. So to see CODBO competing with MW2 the way it has is a good thing. Since most of the IW staff left, the COD community at least has hope now that Treyarch can continue the series in a desirable way like IW did. As for the other studios getting involved with COD now, we will have to wait and see what they can do.
But to think it's a fail because MW2 has more numbers playing it, is quit foolish. Besides CS and CS Source, EVERY game that has ever been released (fps shooter), is getting beat by MW2. So are we going to say that all those games are a fail? What if RO doesn't beat MW2, does that mean it's a fail? Of course not. So to put this in perspective, this isn't such a bad thing at all.
This is just a foolish attempt to try and put down CODBO. That is what's sad... lol
