one week or i'm giving up on this game
my patience is just wearing thin and its starting to stress me out, if i do'nt get a set date for patch 1.07 modtools or dlc in a week i'm scrubbing the game from my hard drive, i know i'm only one player , but i'm sure theres more like me.

Re: one week or i'm giving up on this game
I'm not so concerned with the patches or updates, but I have become bored with the game. Even around here there's not much going on other than the normal config tweaks or other findings that no one wants to share. A few buddies finally got me to check out World of Tanks. I'm coming in pretty late but it has been a welcomed change of scenery. Between MW2 and Bops, I will not be rushing out to get the next CoD like I have in the past. I'm just about over the series as a fan. Maybe a cool mod will help change my view, but I doubt it. It's almost time to find a new hobby.

Re: one week or i'm giving up on this game
The game does'nt suck , just needs some good mods for variety. But no-ones going to mod the game if there too late for the bf3 and mw3 release.Even if i was told due to circumstances there wo'nt be mod tools for blackops but will be released with mw3 i'd be happy.

Re: one week or i'm giving up on this game
Personally I think the Mod tools are too little too late.. This is a bone to keep the community happy and they can also claim later that they actually released the mod tools. It will take weeks and weeks for real quality maps to appear and by that time there will be some new titles released so players are going to move away from Blops and real quick once these new titles hit the shelves..
But then again both Treyarch and Activision knew that would be the case. For the mod tools to have a serious impact January or early Feb would have been the ideal time..
I think they believe its time for them to move onto this years COD..Blops has run its course..So don't expect an aweful lot after these tools are released..
