Re: Brink is GONE from Steam Store (UK)
just had my first go.... fun... yeah its different... i spent 20 minutes customising the character... so far thats the best bit lol
Game play on my dual core is suffering, i have lag... but maybe i work on settings to get that sorted... once i understand them, oh just downloaded a patch i think after i just played it... ideal, thats great to see their are already working on it.
Gameplay feels a bit, whats going on ? i guess it grow on me until i know how to move and shoot better.
Is it Black Ops beater? no... but it is showing that the developers have given the game a lot of thought, certainly some an game

Re: Brink is GONE from Steam Store (UK)
I'm really enjoying it.
I think with the parcour (not what I expected, but it really does add an extra dimension to the game)
Mostly though, it feels like a "skill" game, recoil is high, jumping around requires timing. Like CS before it, it feels like you will get better and better by playing the game (rather than just getting more and more stuff to give you an advantage).
You really need team work, as without engineers for defence, soldiers for ammo and medics for health/revives the team isn't going anywhere.
Not sure why it disappeared from Steam though, and a pain because I can't recommend it on steam to my friends. Probably like homefront where the publishers did a deal with Game etc to NOT allow it digitally (except the few of us that got it early)
