I've been kicked quite a few times for this. Strangely it's mostly at the end of a round/map.

Anyone heard any news on this problem please???

I've spent ages searching the internet for an answer without success.
This forum is the only one I've found with any kind of info/msg on it that
makes sense and is from 2008...most posts go back years!

I rarely suffer from this keypack kick, but tonight has been horrendous!
Kicked literally every 3-5 minutes! Nothing wrong with my ping or FPS
or my pc (as far as I know!). Another clan member has also been
experiencing it a lot too....

It's about time Even Balance (or whoever it is) sorted it...
just seems to me that the newer games get looked after more and the
older ones just get forgotten

Any help/news would be really appreciated.

PB was just updated. Go to evenbalance.com and dl pbsetup. It's a program that updates your pb.

Whenever I start getting weird pb kicks or my game starts lagging nonstop, I check to see if evenbalance put out an update. Or I run across posts like these that give it away. So far it hasn't failed me.

This is a chronic problem in CoD2. I will check and see if there's been a client side fix to CoD2's PB but I doubt it. I play CoD2 all the time and it's been really bad lately.

Last night I was playing on a team (and for once winning...no....DOMINATING) and half of our guys were kicked for packet loss. Needless to say, we got creamed in the end.

Anyone playing CoD2 is complaining. It has yet to affect CoD4.
