What's cool about the marksman rifles in this game is that you can take the optics off completely and use the iron sights. I generally wouldn't recommend that unless you anticipate playing in close quarters, but feel the need to have a high powered rifle. I would really only use it on the semi-auto guns too, like the SR-25 (MK11 in-game) or the Dragunov SVD, but I'd advise people to at the very least use the 4x ACOG.

Re: Alpha Trial Info Questions?
sounds good. got a bit sick of the destruction in BC2 esp in rush always turned into a waste land where the mcom was in the middle with no cover making it impossible to reach without being shot.
is there a restriction on the number of snipers? this would be awesome and help stop all the campers i think 2 snipers per team i reckon. what are the huds like when looking into bloom? the blue ones in BC2 where so are to see on some of the desert/snow maps.
I swear they lifted the HUD right outta MOH, I'm assuming its just placeholder?
It could very well be placeholder, but I don't think so. Why remove something that works so well? The only complaint I have have the HUD is that the minimap is confusing due to the translucent nature of it. I prefer BC2's map. However, there are different zoom modes for the mini-map as well as the large map.
After being a squad leader for many matches, I can say that there's no use for them right now, other than to spawn on. You can't give orders, even by looking at the objective marker and hitting Q like in BC2. Also, if you need ammo or a medic or something, you gotta call for one over chat. Not even that crap system in BC2 where you looked at a specific class and hit the Q button to yell out for ammo or a med kit is in right now. I guess they want to test the actual gameplay and just the gameplay.
