All this because they can't understand that PC gamers need a FOV of 90 :|

agreed.

i remember seeing a thread on the first day on another forum stating that mw3 doesnt actually display anything "correctly" after 4:3 aspect/ratio. all it does is stretch the image to look like 16:9/10. this actual "fixes" that issue. must be another xbox bug carried over to the pc side of things. and left their to prevent any advantage of widescreen users... such fail bs and ill thought out logic.

one thing ive been meaning and also trying to find is the best "comfortable" setting/s

ik my self ive fiddled around with what is "comfortable" and what isnt. for example x2 16:9 is wayyyy to "stretched".

i mean if u play at 4:3 set the program to 16:9 and u get 80 fov. nice but for me i never played 4:3 more like 16:10/9 in that area sooo im trying to find a comfort zone with good fov but not.. blank like quake yet sufficient enough to make a sizable difference.

4:3 in game and widescreen fix set to 16:10 seems to be about the best for my use, still not true FOV tho and still feels blinkered ! :(

spawnstar what res you play on? setting ingame to 4:3 and then the fixer to 16:10 results in only 74 fov btw.
