Btw you get errors if IWD checksums don't match that of your host. I don't think you can get banned from a bad checksum...since that can happen from a corrupt download.

There's still some fishy stuff going on. Even when you match the crc and file sizes of the assets you're replacing inside the game archives and normaly connect to a host without problem(and I've seen it work), the edited files surprisingly fail STEAM's validation of the game cache when you run it, regardless of the .IWD checksum! Not sure but i think it has something to do with the values stored in the .ncf cache files.

Ohhhh I get it now, the PC version of the game is an unlock!

I think half (or maybe more) of the enjoyment Cactus gets out of each CoD is finding this stuff.

The mad, jealous, and angry people you are talking about, are usually the ones that have this "knowledge" you speak of. They have to find any advantage they can. Because they are tired of getting spanked online and are looking to try and even the playing field any way they can.

No juiced or bordeline cheat cfgs for me. I have real knowledge and skill and don't need them. Feel sorry for those that do need them.
