 location cod5 config missing config
Hey all,
I have one problem im trying to access my Call of duty World At War Config file but i cant find it. i have seen and read other posts on how to access the cod5 config file, but i simply browse to the folder and its not there???
first location i looked in was the game path and it wasnt there and the second location i looked in was the one that everyone says its in for xp users but it wasnt in there.
i browsed to this folder but there was no profiles folder
Below here is the folder that i could only go to
C:\Documents and Settings\Dan\My Documents\Activision\CoDWaWbeta
in this folder there was only a folder for Screenshots no other folders were here there was not players profiles those folders couldnt be found in this folder.

Re: location cod5 config missing config
Hey guys sorry to keep asking questions but i have one i need solved. i am trying to overclock my Graphics Card using Riva Tuner but, I dont want to do it to much i dont want 2 destroy my computer. I just want to tweak my GFX Card a little bit but not full extreme. The Card im trying to Overclock is the Nivida GeForce 8800GT. also i have read that overclocking raises heat and cooling is a massive thing. i have the antec 900 PC Gaming Case with five fans including the CPU Fan. Any help with this topic would be greatly Appreciated cheers Logi

Re: location cod5 config missing config
Yes when you overclock the graphics card will get hotter, but it should be ok. It also uses more power. You can either read about your card here. http://www.techarp.com/showarticle.aspx ... 484&pgno=0Or just experiment, see how far you can go, do tests. Once you start seeing weird glitches in games and things like that, turn down your clock speeds. I can get my card to go to about 500/450, from 450/400. Anything over and I the smoke in CoD5 and other games turns really weird.

i recommend evga precision 1.3.3 and video drivers 180.43. whats nice with evga precision its simple slider bars for overclocking one for core, one for shader, one for memory along with a slider for the fan speed. it also gives you a readout of speeds and temps in realtime more info on evga precision: http://www.evga.com/forums/tm.asp?m=534625
