my problem is that when i'm playing cod4 i get low fps and it does many drops for example
when i'm playing promod i get about 80-250 fps but i thought i would have with the 4870 250+ stable with a good config but i still have 80-250 it's also too laggy sometimes.. i mean it goes slow.. for 2 second ... and things like that : /

Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 @ 2.13 MHz might be your problem, if its still at stock it will hold the card back. Check the temps on your card when you are playing. if its over heating that would account for low fps spikes. To eliminate the config as the problem try 3 different ones. (ur current,stock, a random config). i don't have much experience with ATI cards but i've heard they get kinda low fps for cod4.

my temp isnt over 55 .. so i think it's ok.. yeah maybe the problem is my mobo and my cpu : / but i want to hear more ideas... thanks... and i know some guys with 4870 and they have 250fps stable on promod ...

Like i said in another post, and on xfire aswell as malaka did too lol, your CPU is severly bottlenecking your video card, you may not need a new mobo, so don't go out and buy one untill your sure, there maybe a decent enough CPU that will work on your mobo,that wont bottleneck your video card, ask around.

hello , first reply here  I am using ur config now and its great ! one problem , my sensitivity somehow changed ? could it be possible ? only with your config ? ( its being faster ) cheers
