I'm having some lag spikes while playing COD4. I'm already using the yitch3 config, but I think it's maybe due my blank pc ?

AMD Athlon 64 3500+
nVidia Geforce 8600GS
1GB DDR RAM
Asrock 939Dual-SATA2 Mobo

Are there any more optimizations besides the ytich3 config ? I'm playing at the lowest possible resolution (640*800) and I have everything turned off or low...

Try using Yitch1 or Yitch2 and some other FPS boosting configs found on http://www.bashandslash.com

More details would be appreciated. For example :

How much ping do you get on the server you tested yitch3 on?
What Operating System are you running on?
Power Supply?
Driver Version?

I already tried yitch1 or 2, without any difference. It usually gives a lagspike as soon something like much grass or leaves of a tree needs to be rendered.

My OS is Windows XP Professional Sp2, Ping is around 50 and my driver version is 190.62 WHQL

This could also be due to an internet connection or your ping. The server might also be to blame as the 8600GT isn't that bad of a video card infact.
