Why can't we do both?

IW net just dictates what can and can't be done with servers and clients. They have full control and we have dependable lag free gaming. Can't they meet us halfway. Can't they drop the hammer on the pirates and make DLC money without punishing us? I love cod. I don't want to find another game.
