Post Not AS bad as I thought, but not a COD MP.
hey,

I thought i'd just say this because I was dreading the game from all the announcements.

I actually quite like it! The FOV isn't so bad, I really like the weapons (SCAR!) and the maps seem pretty cool so far, and even with 6v6 it is still pretty packed with stuff going on, rarely are you just walking around without engaging someone.

That being said, it is not a COD Multiplayer, feels a lot more like Halo, although as SnD is not unlocked yet for me, I have been plating (And yes, enjoying) Domination. I have not had ANY lag so far, and the least I have had is 3 green bars, most of the time 4, though I am not surprised with the lower player count that it is running really smooth.

The sad thing is, it would be 100 times better if i could play with my friends in a dedi clan server, where we can hang out and chat and play. I have not said/heard a word yet in MW2 from the hours i've played. Another thing is the spam, there isn't actually too much of it! though I have seen two bunny hopping RNGers so far...which was annoying.

Still, it is a really fun game for when you need a quick break, but the community feel of playing in (For example) Bones Open warfare tactical server with guys from all over the world, all different clans....is one I much prefer.

I've never had more than 2 bars, I've played about 5 matches.

Joined a 3 bar server, and of course I owned.

I hate the guns, they feel too heavy. The whole game feels too heavy. I've got it on PS3 but not PC. Not a fan of it or the maps.

It just doesn't feel like a COD game. I want WAR maps not estates and highrises.

It's definitely different but still an alright game in my opinion. I had to increase my mouse sensitivity to make it feel more like CoD4 and the only thing I miss so far is being able to lean.

Install took 20 minutes. No crashes and no errors. Already blazed through single player and may play it again. Multi Player seems to run very smooth for me and I think the maps are decent. I use a router and didn't have to do any port forwarding either.

I'm sure there will be things that will eventually get under my skin as the days go by when it comes to match control but I will enjoy it while I can. I imagine subtle bots and wall hacks will be a bit more difficult to spot and dealing with tards might be a little aggravating. We'll see.

With that said, I don't have much time invested into it right now but so far I am pleased with the overall game.

Yeah no lean is really getting to me. I had to unbind Q and E because I kept throwing flash bangs when I was trying to be covert and lean into a room to clear it.

MW2 will be one of those games I play now and then for a bit of fun, but I will still be mostly in my fav COD4 server.
